Philobiblon. Transylvanian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research in Humanities is the biannual peer reviewed academic journal of the “Lucian Blaga” Central University Library in Cluj-Napoca published in June and December. The journal is accredited by the Romanian National Research Council (CNCS).

Aims and Scope

We welcome scholarly articles and book reviews from a great variety of scientific research in the humanities. The profile of the journal is multidisciplinary; therefore we encourage approaches of original and daring subjects that include congruent directions in the humanities.

The primary condition for publication is that the subject of the submitted article should fit the framework set by the logo Ideas-Books-Society-Readings. We encourage approaches to themes of current importance and relevance, researches that yield original and fresh insight into the issues of contemporary humanities studies.

We prefer articles submitted in English, but we also accept texts in Romanian and Hungarian. After the articles have been accepted by the internal reviewers, the editorial office may require that the author submit an English translation of his/her text.

Our journal does not charge publication fees.

Philobiblon will submit each published issue to any designated institutional repository, including the Legal Deposit of the National Library of Romania, in accordance with Law no. 111/1995, republished, regarding the Legal Deposit of Documents.
